Christmas is an awesome time for Kinnecters – a season of merriment, and a chance to give back. Every year, Kinnect volunteers come together to serve a community in need during Christmas Eve.
In 2014, Kinnecters served in Makoko and distributed meals to over 400 residents, as well as distributed clothes, shoes and food items.
In 2015, we served in Ajegunle, this time with over 500 residents served, and gifts, books, and clothes distributed through the LOTS Charity foundation.
In 2016, we served in Obalende alongside Eti-Osa Youth Development Initiative, and hosted 1,000 residents, and distributed toys and books to over 200 children within the community.
In 2017, we collaborated with Beyond Usual NGO and served 700 residents of the Ikota community, and distributed clothes and shoes to over 300 residents with a particular focus on the children, youths, and women.
